Miami, FL – DJ Khaled is well-known to get parties lit with his star-studded music collaborations. He also wants fans to chill on his new line luxury home furniture items.
He announced the launch his “We The Best” furniture collection on his Instagram account Wednesday (August 29). The collection is in collaboration with Goldition, a group designers and “dreamers” who partner with celebrities to make exclusive products. Khaled’s furniture items include gold couches, gold lion statues, and red velvet-lined thrones.
“My home is my castle, and it’s a sacred place,” Khaled says about his furniture line. “I wanted to create something that highlighted how important our homes are to our lives — it’s where we spend time with family. It’s where we make memories. It’s where we raise our children.
“This line is an extension me. I am involved in every aspect the creative design process — choosing colors, fabrics, styles. So I give my fans a piece Khaled in every item.”
Khaled added that although he doesn’t have a favorite item in the collection, the throne chair is a must-have for customers.
“They’re all my favorite, but every castle has a King and Queen,” he says. “So, the throne chair is a must-have for every King in his castle. And the vanity is a major key for the Queen the castle, so she can make sure she always looking like a queen.”
The furniture will be exclusively sold on Thursday (August 30) beginning at 4 p.m. EST in El Dorado Furniture store in his home base Miami. The furniture collection will be sold nationally after the initial launch date and is looking for eventual international distribution as well.
