Fisher and Walton are good associates.
LaVar Ball is well-known for talking his thoughts and yesterday he did simply that by calling Los Angeles Lakers head coach Luke Walton a horrible head coach for his son Lonzo and that if he had been to be traded, he desires Lonzo to go to Phoenix. It was a reasonably large assertion coming from LaVar which was met with some well-deserved criticism.
“The Lakers gave my boy that shedding perspective. TMZ ended up catching up with Walton’s former teammate Derek Fisher who disagreed with what LaVar needed to say.
“I am not a member the Ball household. Luke Walton is a buddy,” Fisher instructed TMZ. “What I do know is Luke is a good individual and he is a terrific basketball coach.”
