Dave East is back with a new video for “I Don’t Understand It.” Taken from East’s latest project, Karma 2, “I Don’t Understand” is indicative the East Harlem MC’s raw, unfiltered rhyming style.
He doesn’t flinch as he rattles f bars about the violence he’s experienced and the challenges he’s had along the way.
The dark visual finds East cruising around the city late at night, puffing on KandyPens and plotting his next moves.
At one point, a sinister crime boss confronts East and his entourage in a parking garage where guns are drawn. East scoops up the drug dealer’s girl and drives f into the night.
Karma 2 boasts 19 tracks featuring guests such as Trouble, Lil Durk, Fabolous, and Don Q, among others.
