Cardi B Wins Best New Hip-Hop Artist at iHeartRadio Music Awards

It's ficial, 2018 is Cardi B's year. On Sunday night (March 11), the rapper received the Best New Hip-Hop Artist Award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards and accepted it like only Cardi B can.

Dressed in a maroon gown, she took to the stage and was given the award by The Chainsmokers, before listing f all the people she attributes her success to. At the top the list was her publicist, for her patience, her team at Atlantic Records and course, friends, family and fans (her Bardi Gang).

She also had to shout out her hubby. "I wanna thank my man, eyum!" she said, punctuated with her signature sound bites. She wore muted jewelry to the event at The Forum in Los Angeles, but was sporting her enormous engagement ring from Offset. She also announced her new album will be coming in April.

Cardi was a favorite from the moment the awards show started, after opening the night with a rousing performance  "No Limit" and she was joined by G-Eazy. She also had the crowd rocking to "Bartier Cardi," "Motor Sport" and her verse on Bruno Mars' "Finesse (Remix)." The Bruno Mars track birthed a great working relationship between the two, who recently announced that Cardi would be joining Mars on his 24K Magic World Tour.
