Rest up, Cardi!
Cardi B‘s recent cosmetic enhancements have caught up to her in a way she surely didn’t plan. A few weeks back the “Wish Wish” rapper was performing at the Beale Street Music Festival when she told her fans that she just got liposuction and wasn’t even supposed to be moving. “I have some news for y’all,” she told the audience. “I should have canceled today. I shouldn’t really be performing because moving too much is gonna f**k up my lipo. But bitch, I’m still gonna get my motherf**king money back, let’s go!”

Cardi has since performed a couple shows after her announcement. TMZ now reports that Cardi’s upcoming show on Friday in Baltimore has to be cancelled since she’s experiencing complications from her recent liposuction and breast augmentation. Sources close to the rapper told the publication that her post-surgery reactions have gotten so bad that she needs to simply rest to allow the swelling to go down in full. Doctor’s are recommending at least two weeks rest.
We can only hope that gets the rest she needs so she can drop her upcoming single “Press” and deliver fans a dance and rap filled video to share to her Instagram feed.
