Cardi B Cops To Being A Blood But Denies Nine Trey Affiliation

New York, NY – Tekashi 6ix9ine identified both Jim Jones and Cardi B as Nine Trey Bloods during the trial Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack on Thursday (September 19).

While Cardi has spoken about her affiliation before, a rep told TMZ it wasn’t true. The platinum-selling rapper, however, swiftly corrected the rep and confirmed she’s a member the Brims set — not Nine Trey.

“You said it yourself,” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “Brim not 9 Trey. I never been 9 trey or associated with them.”

In 2018, Cardi confirmed she was a Blood during an interview with GQ.

“When I was 16 years old, I used to hang out with a lot Bloods,” she said. “I used to pop f with my homies. And they’d say, ‘Yo, you really get it poppin’. You should come home. You should turn Blood.’ And I did. Yes, I did.

6ix9ine has been the government’s star witness in the case against Ellison and Mack over the past three days.

Jones echoed Snoop Dogg’s recent sentiments in a June interview with Real 92.3, calling 6ix9ine a “rat.” He added there’s no coming back from snitching.

The trial is expected to go on for roughly two weeks.
