BlocBoy JB issues a brief statement.
Earlier this week, BlocBoy JB was arrested for the second time this year on a felony gun charge and possession. He has since spoken out about the arrest, taking to his Instagram account to provide fans with an update on his arrest, alleging that law enforcement ficials believe him to be a drug dealer.
“Police frozed my card sic]. Took my cars and money,” he penned. “Dey tryna say Ima drug dealer. I bought everything I ever owned f show money. Wat I look like when I get paid for shows.”
It was Thursday night that the Memphis rapper was arrested following a raid that took place at his home, resulting in charges for possession a handgun, speeding, possession drug paraphernalia and possession marijuana. He was in custody at Shelby County Jail.
20 people were detained in the raid and Blocboy’s attorney maintains that he was not the original target the raid
Back in July 2018, his home was raided by police. There, police recovered at least three digital scales, 45.9 grams marijuana and a number firearms that included a Glock 2 .40 cal, two Glock 23 .40 cal, and an Eagle Arms AR-15. After a warrant was issued for his arrest in February, Blocboy turned himself into police.
