Album: Tha Dogg Pound ‘W.A.W.G. (We All We Got)’

Tha Dogg Pound are still holding each other down on the West Coast duo’s ninth studio album, W.A.W.G. ( We All We Got).

Released on the new Death Row Records, Daz Dillinger and Kurupt house the project with 14 tracks included the lead singles “Smoke Up” with Snoop Dogg, the title-track, “We All We Got” featuring Snoop Dogg and Tha Eastsidaz, and the Stressmatic-featured “Favorite Color Blue“.

The duo hold their own on their lone solo record, “Imma Dogg” and welcome guests for the remainder of the set. Snoop Dogg makes other appearances including “House Party” and “Grown Up”. Uncle Snoop also joins DaBaby and Butch Cassidy on “After Hours”. The Doggfather also returns on the track “Always On My Mind” alongside Butch Cassidy, who also appears on “Inside Her”.

Elsewhere, Blxst lends his vocals on “Need Some Space”, will.i.am guests on “LA Kinda Love”, and Jane Handcock and October London pair up on “The Weekend”. Finally, the old Death Row inmates reunite as The Lady Of Rage and RBX help close out the album with the final record, “Who Da Hardest?”.

W.A.W.G. (We All We Got) is the follow-up to Tha Dogg Pound’s 2021 album, DPG 4 Life. On the solo side, Daz Dillinger released his Molly Wop EP, while Kurupt released his 7Ps Tha Gotti Way album in 2022.
