Album: Rapsody ‘Please Don’t Cry’

It’s been a long time coming, but Rapsody is back with her fourth studio album, Please Don’t Cry.

The album is proceeded by the Hit-Boy-assisted “Asteroids“, “Stand Tall“, and “3:AM” featuring Erykah Badu. The 22-track set also includes “Back In My Bag“, “Marlanna”, “Look What You’ve Done”, “That One Time”, “He Shot Me”, “God’s Light”, “Lonely Women”, “Faith”, “Forget Me Not”, and more.

Lil Wayne makes an appearance on “Raw” and Baby Tate joins Rapsody with “A Ballad For Homegirls”. Other guests include Bibi Bourelly, Alex Isley, DIXSON, Bee-B, Keznamdi, Niko Brim, Amber Navran, and Phylicia Rashad who makes numerous appearances (“She’s Expecting You”, “Please Don’t Cry Interlude”, “Forget Me Not”).

Please Don’t Cry is Rapsody’s first album in nearly five years following 2019’s, Eve.
