Aaron Carter Clarifies Claim That Michael Jackson Was "Inappropriate" With Him

Aaron Carter says that Michael Jackson wasn’t sexual with him.

Leaving Neverland resurfaced the decades-old claims that Michael Jackson molested children. Since then docuseries aired, many his collaborators and friends distanced themselves from his name, such as Quincy Jones, while others, like Aaron Carter, came to his defense. Last month, the singer alluded to having an “experience” with Michael Jackson which prompted many to assume that he may have actually been molested by the pop icon. A few days ago, a clip surfaced him saying that Michael was never inappropriate towards him, “Except for one time. There was one thing that he did that was a little bit inappropriate,” and that’s where the clip ends.

Carter clarified his comments on MJ after claiming people were making a “mountain out a molehill.” In a series tweets, he said that he never ousted Jackson as a “child molester” but he did look back and find that there was a single incident where the singer was inappropriate.

“Everyone having my back I appreciate you,” he said. “My reasoning for even speaking on this subject is to tell my truth, be real and to also have his back based on my experiences with Michael. He was an amazing guy, I stand by that. So I ask u not to turn this into something it isn’t.”

In another tweet, he wrote, “My story HAD to be told in order to protect a man and friend I ACTUALLY KNEW.”
