With no warning, J.Cole surprises his fans with the release of latest project, Might Delete Later.
After teasing the music in a series of vlogs the past few weeks, Cole drops 12 new tracks including “Crocodile Tearz”, “Hutin’ Wabbitz”, “Fever”, “Stickz N Stonez”, “3001”, and more.
The Fayetteville MC also brings a few guests including Ari Lennox, Gucci Mane, Young Dro, Ab-Soul, Daylyt, Trae Tha Truth and more. Cam’Ron makes an appearance on “Ready ’24”, while Bas and Central Cee trades raps with Jermaine on “H.Y.B.” The project ends with Cole’s “7 Minute Drill” in which he replies to Kendrick Lamar.
“Your first shit was classic, your last shit was tragic,” he raps on the T-Minus and Conductor Williams-produced track. “Your second shit put niggas to sleep, but they gassed it / Your third shit was massive and that was your prime / I was trailing right behind and I just now hit mine.”
Might Delete Later is J.Cole’s first solo project since 2021’s album, The Off-Season and arrives ahead of his upcoming album, The Fall Off.
