After abruptly canceling her Las Vegas residency towards 2022’s beginning – prompting ample backlash from would-be attendees – Adele has officially rescheduled “Weekends With Adele.”

Adele unveiled her rescheduled Las Vegas residency on social media today, whereas Ticketmaster took the opportunity to detail the rebooked event via a blog post. Set to initiate on November 18th (the same month in which she announced the residency in 2021) and conclude on March 25th, 2023, the updated show calendar encompasses 24 rescheduled gigs and eight new concerts (the latter are slated for March).

“A select number of additional tickets will be available across all 32 performances,” Ticketmaster indicated of the retooled residency, also making clear that “all existing tickets are still valid and will be honored for their new date.”

Fans who no longer wish to attend the Caesars Palace residency (or are unable to do so) only have until next Monday, August 1st, to request a refund, the Live Nation subsidiary emphasized. After that, “no additional refunds will be permitted,” and “exchanges are not being offered for these shows.”

Regarding the availability of the newly added tickets, however, “eligible fans” should expect to receive a presale “email invitation” on Wednesday, August 3rd, Ticketmaster communicated. Said invitation will specifically include an August 10th “Refunded Fans Presale,” which will be “available only to fans who bought tickets on Ticketmaster.com during the previous Adele Verified Fan Presale but have since had them refunded.”

And Thursday the 11th, for its part, will bring the “General Verified Fan Presale” for “those who registered and were waitlisted for the previous Adele Verified Fan Presale.”

The presales will last 12 hours apiece beginning at 10 AM PST, and after receiving the mentioned email invite, customers in both groups will “have until Sunday, August 7 at 11:59PM PST to register for the new and rescheduled performances,” Ticketmaster relayed. Subsequently, the company will email registered individuals presale codes.

In terms of COVID-19 stipulations, organizers are “requiring all attendees to have been fully vaccinated (14 days past final vaccination shot).” Exceptions are in place solely “for those with documented medical or religious exemptions,” per Ticketmaster, as well as children under the age of five, “who then must show proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test taken within 48 hours before the event.”

While some fans are expressing critical opinions of the rescheduled residency on social media, a number of others are making clear their excitement to attend one of the shows. Moreover, a substantial portion of the criticism appears to be directed at the residency’s December 24th date, and time will tell how many diehard supporters show up for the happening on the holiday weekend.
