HipHopDX Premiere – Aspiring Oregon rapper Enkay47 has is back with another new single called “What’s My Name.”
Produced by Trunxks Beatz, the track features fellow burgeoning lyricist Ekoh and finds the ambitious duo swapping bars over the ominous production.
Enkay47 has drawn comparisons to Eminem due to his rhyming style, but he brushed those f last August with his video for “My Own Lane.”
“I want to show people that I’m my own artist and steer clear the constant Eminem and NF comparisons,” he told DX at the time. “So what’s the solution? I dye my hair blue, throw in some blue contacts and get on a trap beat. This is me finding myself as an artist.”
“What’s My Name” serves as the first single from Enkay47’s forthcoming album Grow Up, which is expected to arrive this September.
