Nude photos Iggy Azalea were leaked online over Memorial Day weekend, forcing the Aussie singer to threaten legal action. Photographer Nino Muñoz alleges the images, which were outtakes from a 2016 GQ Australia photo shoot, were stolen.
But the “Fancy” pop star is finding support in all kinds places, even the porn industry. According to The Blast, Vice President xHamster Alex Hawkins has vowed to keep the leaked photos f their website.
“While there’s nothing shameful about nudity, non-consensual photography or video is a violation Iggy’s rights,” Hawkins said. “As we have done in the past in similar cases, we will increase our patrol Iggy and relevant keywords, and are asking our community to alert us should they spot the photos.”
A rep added they’ve seen a dramatic increase Azalea’s name in their search engine and they’ve “reached out to Iggy Azalea’s management team to find ways to collaborate on Iggy’s defense, including blocking her as a search term.”
Before Azalea deleted her social media accounts, she issued a statement regarding the leak.
“Today I’m a ball negative emotions,” she wrote. “I feel blindsided, embarrassed, violated, angry, sad and a million other things. Not solely because I did not consent to this — but also because the vile way people have reacted.”
“A lot the comments I see from men in particular taking things even further and sharing their thoughts and fantasies in regard to my body has honestly disturbed me,” she continued. “The outright wicked things people say is overwhelming & makes me feel like throwing up.”
