Cardi B Rejects Plea Deal in Strip Club Brawl Case

Cardi B was back in court in her strip club brawl case.

The “Money” rapper appeared in a New York courtroom on Friday (April 19), where she rejected a plea deal over her alleged involvement in a fight at a Queens strip club last year.

Dressed in a silky white outfit and carrying a Birkin bag, the 26-year-old entered Queens Criminal Court while flanked by her legal team and security guards, who shielded her from the rain with an umbrella.

Cardi was charged with two misdemeanor counts reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count assault for allegedly throwing bottles, chairs, and a hookah at bartender sisters, Rachel Wattley and Sarah Wattley aka Jade and Baddie Gi, during the August incident at Angels Strip Club.

Prosecutors fered her a deal. In return for pleading guilty to a misdemeanor, she would avoid jail as long as she stayed out trouble for a period time. During the three-minute court appearance, Cardi’s lawyer, Jeff Kerns, rejected the deal and agreed to her next court appearance.

Cardi didn’t say anything to fans and photographers who were waiting outside, but she waved and smiled at a baby who was seated in the courtroom.

She is scheduled to appear back in court on May 31.
