10 FACTS ABOUT “LOST GIRL” STAR K.C COLLINS

He’s been known for starring next to Anna Silk and Zoie Palmer in the hit sci-fi series Lost Girl, but there’s more to K.C Collins than the role that made him famous.

1- He left school to pursue an acting career. Yup! The talented actor had to make some sacrifices in order to get to where he is now. Let’s just say, he’s one of the lucky ones!

2- Collins is best known for his roles as Hale on the Canadian television supernatural drama Lost Girl and Dr. Tom Reycraft on Saving Hope. However, he has starred in many other shows, including: The Strain on the FX Network created by Guillermo Del Toro; Hellboy 1 & 2 and Pacific Rim.

3- He’s a a worldwide traveler. K.C. has been able to experience various cultural backgrounds globally, emphasizing his easy going persona and adding to his perspective on life.

4- He’s a philanthropist. As a part of his philanthropy work, K.C. supports several charities and is keen on developing his own charity that will aid in keeping oceans clean and provide clean drinking water for those in need.

5- He’s a vegan! K.C shares the same amount of compassion towards the animals and the planet, as his fellow humans.

7- He’s planning on releasing his first ever album soon. It is titled The Mood Project and it’s a clear representation of his daily moods. The album is a fusion of Hip Hop, Dubstep, Alternative Rock, R&B and Reggae.

8- K.C. did voice campaigns for Gatorade spanning basketball, track and field and hockey.

9- Collins was born in Toronto, Ontario, but attended Monroe Community College in Rochester, New York.
