Wale is no longer a free agent. The D.C. rapper has signed a new deal with Warner Bros. Records.
It marks a return home for Wale, who released his 2011 album Ambition on Warner Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group. His most recent albums, Shine (2017), The Album About Nothing (2015), and The Gifted (2013), were released MMG/Atlantic Records. He remains signed to MMG and his own imprint, Every Blue Moon.

Wale celebrated the announcement with his new single “Black Bonnie” featuring Jacquees. The song can be found on his EP It’s Complicated, which dropped in March. Just last week, he released his 3-song EP Self Promotion.
He is now working on his sixth full-length album, set for release later this year on Warner.
