Ne-Yo proves his worth on his seventh studio album Good Man.
Now married with three children, the R&B gentleman showcases his growth musically and personally on the 20-track deluxe edition, which combines his diverse musical tastes. Bebe Rexha and Stefflon Don guest on the island-infused “Push Back,” while Romeo Santos joins Ne-Yo on the bilingual ballad “Nights Like These.” Other guests include PARTYNEXTDOOR, Eric Bellinger, and Candice Boyd.
“I named the album Good Man because this album is kind a snapshot where I am now in my life,” Ne-Yo told Ebony. “I am currently 38 years old, happily married for two years, I have three children and one on the way. My priorities have changed. This album is kind a lead by example in regards to what it is to be a good husband to your wife, a good boyfriend to your girlfriend, a good brother to your brother and just a good guy to the world.”
Ne-Yo, who can currently be seen alongside Jennifer Lopez on NBC’s “World Dance,” also debuted a video for the title track. In the black-and-white clip, Ne-Yo struggles with trying to do right by his lady.
