Snoop Dogg: 5 Bangers The Doggfather Must Perform This Independence Day –

West Coast rapper Snoop Dogg is taking his talent all the way to the East Coast this Independence Day. The hip-hop legend is slated to headline the free 4th July Music, Arts, and Technology Festival at the Jersey City waterfront in New Jersey and before the fireworks go f, there are five songs we’re hoping to see Snoop perform live.

1. Drop It Like It’s Hot

There’s no better way to get a summer Wednesday more fired up than seeing Snoop Dizzle perform “Drop It Like It’s Hot” – on a steamy 87-degree day at the Hudson River Waterfront. Jersey City’s Mayor Steven M. Fulop will present his fifth annual July 4th festival on the Hudson Waterfront with around 200,000 people expected to be in attendance.

2. Sensual Seduction

Where there’s summer, there’s always love. While the kids are running around, Snoop has to get his grown man on with his auto-tune “Sensual Seduction” anthem for the marriage and relationship goals going on. On Wednesday, the carnival-style spectacle, branded 50STAR FIRESHOW, will span the entire Greater New York City area and with Snoop Dizzle on the Private Internet Access stage in front a 200,000 person audience lining the Hudson River Waterfront and area surrounding Harborside. The celebration begins at noon with a full-scale carnival, continuous entertainment and tons food trucsk.

3. Still D.R.E.

Okay – this might technically be a Dr. Dre song, but getting Snoop Dogg all the way on the East Coast to perform the classic “Still D.R.E.” is the definition summertime. This is an all-time classic we’re gonna need Snoop to pull through with. The all-day music, food, technology and entertainment experience boasts views the New York City skyline, and will become the scene the state’s largest fireworks show.

4. Let’s Get Blown

Sometimes you just need fun and energetic songs – why not have Snoop Dogg steam things up with another Pharrell banger like “Let’s Get Blown.” Summertime vibes. Fireworks. Why not? Since New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio’s relocated the Macy’s fireworks show to the East River, the Jersey City celebration has continued to grow momentum, attracting nearly 100,000 from throughout the region in 2017, with plans to grow the event exponentially in future years.

5. Beautiful

This song speaks for itself – Snoop Dizzle and Pharrell’s “Beautiful” is still – you guessed it – beautiful in 2018. On a chill summer day, what better way to see the fireworks than seeing Snoop throw it down with yet another Skateboard P banger? In taking steps to preserve and highlight the city’s growth, Jersey City has engaged hospitality stars Michael Satsky and Brian Gefter.
