Remy Ma and Papoose have chosen to celebrate 10 years marriage by renewing their vows.
In a recent ceremony that was described by Remy as small and intimate, the couple was joined by close family and friends as they reaffirmed their love for one each other.
Following the renewal vows, Remy shared a heartfelt message on Instagram expressing her love for Papoose. She added the following caption to a photo from the ceremony:
“This weekend I celebrated a milestone with my best friend, my partner in everything, my husband, my forever @papoosepapoose I love you so much- not only because you are the perfect soulmate but because you are the epitome a real man, the essence a great father, and the definition loyalty & if I could start life over the only thing I would change is meeting you sooner so that I can spend more time with you.”
Papoose shared a similar post to his Instagram page and even recommended that all married couples renew their vows at some point.
“Was very important for me to renew my wedding vows with my #queen Our marriage has been the best 10 years my life! Needed to reassure her that I still worship the ground she walks on. I would advise all married couples to do it! It’s a reminder the obligations, loyalty, love & respect u owe to your partner,” Papoose wrote.
The couple married in May 2008, just days before Remy began her six-year prison sentence.
