The iced-out duo makes a NorCal connection between Oakland and Sacramento on the “Bae Mix” to Saweetie’s buzz-worthy smash, “ICY GRL.” Although Lani is typically known as a singer, she blesses this track with a confident rap verse.
In fact, Tsunami kicks things f with some bars about her wealth, loyalty, and influences. “Can’t stop, ain’t stop, too hot,” she raps. “Came out like the daughter Aaliyah and 2Pac.”
Following her verse, Oakland’s Lani shows love to the rising Sacramento star. “I’m not even a fucking rapper,” she says. “Saweetie going crazy / Oakland to Sac.”
While boasting about her racks, Saweetie also flexes her academic achievements on a brand new verse. “I went to USC and got my college degree,” she raps. “That means I’m smarter than these ni**as, can’t get over on me.”
Taking to Twitter, Kehlani called the collaboration “foire flames,” while Saweetie added: “Sis. Gassed. This. Thanx queen.”
