New Music: GoldLink feat. Miguel ‘Got Friends’

After teaming up with Christina Aguilera on “Like I Do,” GoldLink connects with Miguel on their summer-ready single “Got Friends.”

The D.C. rapper proves he’s quite the ladies man, while Miguel salutes the bad chicks on the sunny hook. “All my bitches got friends and they bad, they bad, so we’re good,” he sings. “Just enough for the clique / All my bitches got friends / You don’t need to pick.”

GoldLink is now readying a new project, the follow-up to last year’s At What Cost, which spawned the double platinum single “Crew.”

He is also the latest star NPR’s “Tiny Desk” concert series. As part his stripped-down set, he performed tracks f each his three projects: “Bedtime Story” from 2014’s The God Complex, “Dark Skin Women” from 2015’s And After That, We Didn’t Talk, and “Some Girl” and “Pray Everyday (Survivor’s Guilt)” from 2017’s At What Cost.

Goldlink recently announced “Three Nights on U Street,” a series three shows at Washington, D.C.’s U Street Music Hall where he will perform one his projects each night.
