Mariah Carey Leases Beverly Hills Mansion Once Occupied by Nicki Minaj

Mariah Carey has a new crib. The iconic vocalist has reportedly signed a longterm lease on a 12,000-square-foot Beverly Hills mansion.

It’s a lavish home with a hefty price tag. TMZ reports that M.C. will be paying a whopping $35,000 a month to stay at the estate.

That monthly payment allows her to enjoy an acre fun, including nine bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a guest house, spa, and some beautiful views.

The Beverly Hills mansion was previously occupied by Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill, who reportedly moved into the home in 2016, just months before their well-publicized break up.

Mariah and Nicki have other ties, as well, including a longstanding feud stemming from their stint on “American Idol.” “You know, I always felt it was more important, with that situation, to not plead the fifth, but to just stay above the fray,” Mariah said Minaj in 2016. “Because you don’t want to be déclassé. You just want to move it along.”

In 2013, Nicki explained what their strained relationship was like. “Imagine someone that you loved your whole life,” she said. “Imagine you meeting them and then all a sudden feeling like you did something horrible to them but you just don’t know what you did. That’s what my relationship with Mariah is, and that’s what it’s been from the beginning.”
