Listen to a Snippet of Sahbabii’s New Song ''Squidrific''

It looks like Sahbabii could have a new banger headed our way really soon. On Thursday (March 22), the Atlanta rapper uploaded a snippet a new song to his Twitter account, and, predictably, it sounded pretty dope.

Titled "Squidrific," the unreleased track includes a mid-tempo trap beat and Sahbabii's familiar rap cadences. The track is produced by producer Based TJ, so props to him.

This snippet arrives about two months after the release "Watery," which, at the time, was the first new track Sahbabii had dropped in a while. By the looks things, though, we'll be getting a solid amount new Sahbabii music in the very near future.

Sahbabii, who broke out with his hit single "Pull Up Wit Ah Stick" in 2016, has a distinctly Souther delivery you can't help but want to trace back to his native Atlanta. Speaking with XXL for The Break last spring, he listed some the folks he grew up listening to, and unsurprisingly, many them are from the ATL.

“I grew up listening to Future, Rich Homie Quan, my big brother T3], Young Thug, Cash Out, a lot stuff like that," he revealed at the time. "2010, at my uncle’s house is the earliest memory me making music]. My brother at first was recording me. I didn’t really know how to use the program. I just seen everybody in Atlanta making music so I wanted to make music too. I started playing around in the studio, making my first songs and I learned how to work the programs myself. My big bother and cousin do music."
