Kanye West Reactivates Instagram Account

Kanye West is back on the ‘Gram.

After going on a lengthy hiatus from Instagram, Yeezy reactivated his account on Valentine’s Day with a special loving message for his wife, Kim Kardashian. His revival post features a white paper that reads: “HAPPY VALENTINES DAY BABE.”

KKW also posted a heartwarming dedication her own for Yeezus on her account. “I love you to infinity,” she wrote. “Happy Valentine’s Day!!!”

Shortly after posting the note, West celebrated the holiday by posting vintage photos famous couples including Madonna and Sean Penn, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, and Kate Moss and Johnny Depp.

‘Ye joined Instagram in September 2016, only to use it sporadically. He then deactivated his account in May 2017. Prior to first getting on the platform, he explained his thoughts about it. “I was thinking about getting an Instagram but only on one condition……no one can ask me or try to tell me what to Instagram… It’s my art,” he tweeted.

West may not be an avid Instagram user, but he already has 2.6 million followers. Meanwhile, his wife Kim Kardashian who uses the platform ten, has 107 million supporters.

It’s unclear whether Yeezy’s Instagram return is any indication a musical resurgence. He is reportedly working on a new solo album, a G.O.O.D. Music compilation, and a Kid Cudi joint effort.

Today, Yeezy’s childhood home in Chicago is also being heart bombed in honor Valentine’s Day.
