Kanye West Makes Surprise Appearance with Kid Cudi at All-Star Concert

It was a G.O.O.D. Saturday for Kanye West and Kid Cudi fans, who were treated to a rare performance from the rappers at adidas’ 747 Warehouse St. event during NBA All-Star Weekend event in Los Angeles.

Dressed casually in shorts, an adidas sweatshirt, and hat, Yeezy surprised the crowd when he showed up on stage to introduce Cudder. “I just came out here with my homie, my brother,” he said. “I need y’all to make some noise for Kid Cudi.”

The Lonely Stoner brought Yeezus back to the stage for a rendition “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1,” which they performed together.

The joint performance fuels rumors an upcoming Kanye-Cudi collaborative project, which they reportedly worked on in Japan last year. In November, the duo also performed “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1” in Chicago.

Two years ago, the longtime friends feuded over a series issues. Taking to Twitter, Cudder wrote: “Ye, Drake, whoever. These ni**as dont give a fuck about me. And they aint fuckin with me. Ni**as keep you close when they see how powerful you are by yourself. When they see your greatness. Out fear.” Kanye replied: “Kid Cudi, don’t ever mention ‘Ye name. I birthed you…Respect the God!”

However, both artists appeared to reconcile following individual health concerns. Cudi checked into rehab for depression and suicidal urges, while West was hospitalized for exhaustion.

In addition to Kanye and Cudi, adidas’ two-day 747 Warehouse St. event featured performances from N.E.R.D, Lil Uzi Vert, Childish Gambino, 21 Savage, Playboi Carti, French Montana, and more.
