Joe Budden Inks Talk Show Deal with Diddy’s REVOLT TV

Joe Budden is joining forces with Diddy.

The outspoken rapper has signed a deal with the hip-hop mogul’s network, REVOLT TV, where he will host, create, and executive produce a new talk show called “State the Culture.” Set to premiere this summer, the show will find Budden sharing his perspective on current events, politics, social issues, and more, all through the lens hip-hop.

According to a press release, “State the Culture” will deliver “raw, unfiltered, and informative debates and interviews” with celebrity guests.

“Finally, Joe Budden is ficially part the REVOLT family,” said REVOLT Chairman Sean “Diddy” Combs. “Joe has an authentic approach and he’s never afraid to speak the truth. His many talents deserve a platform that pushes the culture forward and we are excited to produce next-level content with him.”

Budden also celebrated the new partnership. “It was important to partner with a company that recognizes the growing need for our voices and ideas to stream freely without interruption. That was a much prettier way to say, we bout to be with the shits,” he said. “Thank you to my business partner Ian Schwartzman and REVOLT for the opportunity to highlight my brutal honesty, passion and integrity. I love REVOLTING!! Together, we will continue to take this thing to heights unseen.”

Budden was previously the host Complex’s web series “Everyday Struggle,” but left after contract negotiations broke down. He also hosts his own popular podcast, “The Joe Budden Podcast.”
