After visiting The Doctors, a talk show hosted by board certified doctors and physicians, it seems Halsey is a little closer to her female fans. The “Now or Never” artist spoke candidly about her experience with endometriosis, a condition where tissue grows outside the uterus rather than inside, which is diagnosed to one in 10 women.
“The thing with endometriosis is that it comes down to that doctors can tend to minimize the female experience when it comes to dealing with it,” Halsey — who wasn’t properly diagnosed until after she passed out in front her tour bus last year — explained. “A lot the time they can make you think it’s in your head.”
During this conversation, the artist also revealed that she suffered a miscarriage.
