French Montana Helps Open Uganda Hospital

French Montana is a global ambassador.

The New York rapper recently helped open a hospital in Uganda after witnessing the country’s health-related hardships last year. The medical center is now up and running and equipped to serve 300,000 people, according to TMZ.

Montana filmed his “Unforgettable” video in Uganda, where he became inspired to help. He then became a Global Citizen Ambassador and his donations have been beneficial. As a result, pregnant women have been able to receive much-needed resources.

French has inspired others too. In fact, The Weeknd and Diddy have matched his donations, helping the hospital open its doors.

“It feels beautiful to be a child God, citizen the world and agent change,” he recently told TMZ. “I’m helping the people that need help.”

At the time, Montana said he planned on continuing his efforts. “The whole idea this is to spark the mind the world leaders,” he added. “To help them do something on a bigger scale than what we doing. I just feel like all the mothers and children should have the right care. It should never be a privilege, it should be a right.”

Montana’s global travels continue. After teaming up with 21 Savage, Ozuna, Gucci Mane, Bad Bunny, and J Balvin on Lil Pump’s “Gucci Gang” remix, the New York rhymer is currently in Puerto Rico.
