HipHopDX Premiere: Bay Area rapper Chippass has delivered a new video for “Yang Style.” Produced by fellow Oaklander DJ Fresh, the track finds Chippass casually spitting about his daily life.
“Instead calling it ‘Freestyle,’ I put the ‘Yang’ in front it because that’s my clique I represent,” Chippass tells HipHopDX. “We don’t rap regularly. There are punchlines and metaphors. We talk shit. I roast a lot. ‘Yang’ means loyalty, respect, balance, focus, and all that good shit.”
The song is taken from Chippass’ upcoming project Original Yangster 3, which is expected to arrive on Friday (June 29).
