Drake’s ‘Nice for What’ Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100

After 11 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 with “God’s Plan,” Drake dethrones himself with “Nice for What.”

The Lauryn Hill-sampled song debuts at No. 1 on the chart, as well as Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts. Plus, it topped the Streaming Songs chart with 60.4 million U.S. streams and the Digital Song Sales chart with 88,000 downloads.

Drizzy is the first artist ever to replace himself at No. 1 with both songs debuting at the top. This marks his 25th top 10, equaling Elvis Presley for fourth-most top 10s among male solo artists, and his 162nd overall, extending his record among soloists.

Moreover, the 6 God has three singles in this week’s top 5. That includes the aforementioned top two and BlocBoy JB’s “Look Alive,” which peaked at No. 5. Only 50 Cent, Justin Bieber, and The Beatles have earned more.

Elsewhere on the chart, Post Malone and Ty Dolla $ign’s “Psycho” is No. 4, while Cardi B enters at No. 8 with the Bad Bunny and J Balvin-assisted “I Like It.” Lil Dicky and Chris Brown’s “Freaky Friday” sits at No. 9 and Bruno Mars and Cardi “Finesse” their way into the top 10.
