Friday morning, Drake dropped his fifth studio album. Titled Scorpion, it’s safe to say that all the work put in on its 25 tracks was worth it, considering it is already eligible for a double-Platinum certification from the RIAA (due to the fact that it’s a double-sided album). 1. Drake confirmed he has a kid.
The rumors were finally confirmed on the B-side track “March 14”. Yes, Drake does have a child that was mothered by Sophie Brussaux, a former porn star. His lyrics addressing the matter read as “She not my lover like Billie Jean but the kid is mine… Now it’s rough times, I’m out here on front lines just trying to make sure that I see him sometimes. It’s breaking my spirit, single father, I hate when I hear it”. He went even more in-depth on the track “Emotionless”, saying “I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world from my kid”.
