European pop-reggae superduo Crazy Double go hard on this summer’s “Party Rock Anthem” by way of “Pipa,” a face-melting standout single. The track builds over a heavy reggaeton beat, driven by vocalist and hypeman Olisa and backed by DJ Vitaly.
The two met while performing at a children’s charity event, and connected over a shared love of music and getting people out on the dance floor. Both were already widely known in Europe for their personal projects. Olisa –who cites Michael Jackson as an influence–is globally recognized for his contribution “Dedicated,” to the late great artist’s official tribute album. Of course, UK music fans will recognize Vitaly from his hilarious and unique performances on “Britain’s Got Talent,” where despite Simon Cowell’s disdain, Vitaly advanced to the semi-finals. With every pulse, “Pipa’s” beat delivers the incredible energy that both artists bring to the table–and to the party.
