Cardi B’s Security Allegedly Attacks Autograph Seeker

Cardi B’s security team allegedly assaulted a man who asked the Invasion Privacy chart-topper for an autograph on Monday (May 7).

Bardi and her fiancé Offset were leaving a Met Gala after-party at the Mark Hotel around 2 a.m., when an overzealous fan approached her for a signature. “I just asked for an autograph,” he tells her in video that was published by TMZ. “I’m an autograph hound.”

In a separate clip, the man asks Cardi not to shoot him over an autograph. Offset stops the man and tells him to “shut up, before a ni**a beat you out here.”

However, the man continued pestering the couple as they entered a vehicle. He even begged Offset to beat him up in order to make money from the situation.

“I’ll take all your money, bro,” the man told Offset. “Please beat me up! Please, brother! Be a fool, man. You better invest your money. Do something with your money instead buying jewelry. Word. You better invest your money, bro. You’re gonna go broke one day, you heard? It ain’t gonna last forever. Don’t come at me, ni**a. Y’all ni**as is crazy.”

Three men, described as members Cardi and Offset’s security team or entourage, appear to exit the vehicle to approach the heckler. “You wanna pop me?” the man asks them. “Go ahead, bro. Go ahead.” Two men punch the man several times and drop him to the ground before a third person stomps him.

Cardi B and Offset have yet to address the incident.
