Cardi B Pulls Out of Bruno Mars Tour

Cardi B won’t be making any moves on Bruno Mars’ upcoming tour.

The new mom has decided to pull out the tour after giving birth earlier this month. She made the announcement on Instagram on Thursday (July 26), revealing that she’s not “mentally and physically” ready to hit the road.

“As today I’ve decided I won’t be joining Bruno on tour this fall,” said Cardi. “I thought that after giving birth to my daughter that 6 weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically. I also thought that I’d be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing.”

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper, who welcomed daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus on July 10, added, “Not only am I just not ready physically, I’m not ready to leave my baby behind since the doctors explained since it’s not healthy for her to be on the road.”

She went on to apologize to her fans and thank Bruno for “being so supportive and understanding.”

Bruno responded to Cardi with a sweet message. “Most important thing is you and your family’s health,” he wrote. “I know the fans will understand. You are absolutely doing the right thing. I also know we’ll share the stage when the time is right. We love you Cardi and we will play ‘Bodak Yellow’ every night in your honor. Please give your baby girl a hug from me and a hug on behalf everyone on The 24K Magic Tour.”

The tour will go on as planned. Bruno is set to kick f the final leg his “24K Magic World Tour” on Sept. 7 in Denver.
