Busted! Rapper Dae Dae Arrested on Drugs and Weapons Charge

Atlanta rapper Dae Dae has been arrested. The artist behind the 2016 hit “Wat U Mean (Aye, Aye, Aye)” was taken in after police found weapons and marijuana in a car that he was riding in. Unfortunately for the rapper, he also had a warrant out for his arrest in Fulton County, Georgia.

Dae Dae, birth name Marquavis Goolsby, was taken into custody in Greene County, a suburban area about an hour outside Atlanta.

“He’s being held on an active warrant from Fulton County,” Greene County sheriff’s Capt. Lee Stancill said in an interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

“While the vehicle was pulling over, the deputy observed the front seat passenger crawl into the back seat,” he explained. “After the vehicle stopped, the deputy made contact with the occupants the vehicle and immediately smelled the odor marijuana coming from inside the car.”

The captain also told the newspaper that two guns and a small amount drugs were recovered from the car.
