Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliott are facing f in an epic Super Bowl showdown. The hip-hop legends star in a joint commercial for Doritos Blaze and MTN DEW Ice.
The first teaser for the 60-second spot features Peter Dinklage and Morgan Freeman, who prepare for battle in a mysteriously dark room. The second one includes Busta and Missy as the actors’ tongue twister coaches.
Sitting in front a mirror, Freeman rehearses his rhyme. “Peter Piper picked a peck pickled peppers,” he repeats, while Missy stands behind him. “A little bit louder,” she commands. “I need conviction. I need to feel it!”
For his part, the “Game Thrones” star is banging on a table while trying out his tongue twister. “How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?” he says, while Busta brings out the fire. “I don’t know what you came to do,” he exclaims, “but I ain’t come to lose!”
“My protégé Peter about to kill it,” Busta wrote on Instagram. “Keep your 👀 glued to that screen when the battle goes down on Super Bowl Sunday!” Misdemeanor added: “Morgan is COLD AS ICE!! Watch my man come for Dinklage.”
The teasers also feature a remixed mash-up with hints Missy’s “Get Ur Freak On” and Busta’s Chris Brown collaboration, “Look at Me Now.” The full ad is set to air during the Super Bowl on Feb. 4.
