Big Sean Postpones ‘Unfriendly Reminder Tour’

Shortly after announcing his career-spanning trek, Big Sean has decided to postpone his “Unfriendly Reminder Tour.”

In a statement through ticket agencies, Sean Don explained why he was forced to pull the plug on the jaunt, shortly after it was announced.

“To all my fans: I’ve been in a deep creative space and decided I need to stay focused in the studio – so unfortunately, I am postponing my upcoming tour,” he explained in the statement (per HipHop-N-More). “I learned in life you have to follow your intuition – I hope you do the same.”

The I Decided. MC went on to say that he has been grateful for fan support and that he is excited about the work he has coming up. “Thank you for your continued love and support. It means the world to me,” he added. “Trust, we are working on something special for you all.”

Sean announced the tour earlier this month, asking fans for input on the setlist. “I had to go back in and listen to all the old mixtapes and albums, and I was like damn man a lot this stuff didn’t get the true shine,” he said at the time. “So with the platform I have now, I thought it would be perfect to revisit a lot the old music as well as the new classics on my next tour. But I’m gonna give you guys the opportunity to chose my setlist on this tour. Can’t wait to hit the road.”

Featuring Playboi Carti, Shy Glizzy, and GASHI, the North American tour was slated to begin April 12 in Orlando and run through June 3 in Toronto.

Up next, Sean Don is working on a follow-up to last year’s I Decided. “We’ve got a lot coming up,” he recently revealed. “I’m getting ready to drop an album that I’ve been waiting my whole life to drop.”
