Alleged Gunman Arrested In XXXTENTACION's Murder

Broward County, FL – Broward County Sheriff detectives have arrested an alleged gunman in XXXTENTACION’s shooting death.

According to a press release, 22-year-old Michael Boatwright was served with an arrest warrant for first-degree murder on Tuesday (July 10). He was already in custody at the BSO jail on unrelated charges, including possession marijuana and possession cocaine with intent to distribute.

Boatwright’s arrest marks the second suspect police have apprehended in this case. Dedrick D. Williams was arrested on June 20 and is currently awaiting trial.

Detectives are also interested in speaking with 22-year-old Robert Allen, who has been named as a person interest in the case.

Police are also seeking a second gunman, but no suspects have been named

The 20-year-old rapper was killed on June 18 outside RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Florida in what his lawyer called a “random robbery.”

X was laid to rest late last month following a public open-casket memoriall at the BB&T Center in Sunrise where thousands fans mourned his death.
